Lever jij binnenkort je scriptie in? Of heb je deze het afgelopen jaar ingeleverd? En is je scriptie met minimaal een 7,5 beoordeeld? Doe dan mee met de SWOCC Scriptieprijs voor de beste universitaire masterscriptie over merken en communicatie! Inzenden kan tot en met maandag 22 september 2025.
Wat kan je winnen?
Aan de SWOCC Scriptieprijs is een geldbedrag verbonden van € 750. Daarnaast krijg je de kans om je scriptie te presenteren voor een groot publiek van wetenschappers en praktijkprofessionals tijdens het SWOCC Symposium.
De belangrijkste voorwaarden voor deelname:
- Je bent in het studiejaar 2024/2025 afgestudeerd aan een masteropleiding aan een Nederlandse universiteit.
- De scriptie is met minimaal een 7,5 beoordeeld.
- Het onderwerp valt binnen de expertisegebieden van SWOCC: Merk & Mens, Merk & Organisatie of Merk & Communicatie.
Na de sluitingsdatum van 22 september 2025 worden de inzendingen door de jury beoordeeld op diverse criteria, waaronder:
- de relevantie voor de onderzoeksgebieden van SWOCC;
- de praktische toepasbaarheid van de resultaten;
- de leesbaarheid en de kwaliteit van dataverzameling en -analyse.
Op basis hiervan kiest de jury de winnaar van de SWOCC Scriptieprijs, die begin juni bekend wordt gemaakt. De winnaar zal zijn/haar scriptie presenteren tijdens het jaarlijkse SWOCC Symposium in het voorjaar van 2026.

Are you handing in your master’s thesis soon? Or did you turn it in last year? And is your thesis graded with at least an 7,5? Then register for the SWOCC Thesis Prize for the best master’s thesis on brands and communication! Entries can be submitted until Monday, September 22, 2025.
What can you win?
The SWOCC Thesis Prize is associated with a cash prize of € 750. In addition, you get the chance to present your thesis in front of a large audience of scientists and practitioners during the SWOCC Symposium.
The main conditions for participation:
- You graduated from a master’s program at a Dutch university in the academic year 2024/2025.
- The thesis is graded with at least an 7,5.
- The topic falls within SWOCC’s areas of expertise: Brand & People, Brand & Organization, or Brand & Communication.
After the closing date of September 22, 2025, submissions will be judged by a jury on various criteria, including:
- the relevance to SWOCC’s research areas;
- the practical applicability of the results;
- the readability and quality of data collection and analysis.
On this basis, the jury will choose the winner of the SWOCC Thesis Prize, which will be announced in the fall 2025. The winner will present their thesis at the annual SWOCC Symposium in spring 2026.
